It's 'GAD' to Start the School Year

PSHS-CMC conducted the in-Service training last August 23-27, 2021 via Zoom. One of the highlights of the activity was the webinar on Gender Analysis and Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines(HGDG) conducted by Ms. Marisa Fe B. Singson, a member of PCW-NGRP. During the opening remarks, our Campus Director (Sir Franklin L. Salisid), stated that "Let us have an opening activity with a webinar on Gender Analysis, and Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines. This is in relation also to the Gender and Development webinar held last March 2021 as defined Magna Carta of Women; RA 9710 which seeks to achieve gender equality as the fundamental value that should be reflected in development choices. With the expertise and sharing of the resource person later, this webinar will help us understand and capacitate us to use HGDG in order to ensure that our programs/activities/projects (PAPs) in various stages are gender-responsive. Thus, everyone is expected to attend and participate because the PAPs are usually originated at the subject area unit level headed by the head in cooperation with the unit members, and at least in your level you know already that the PAPs are gender-responsive or not." In this activity. there were 29 male and 43 female plantilla positions personnel attended. The one-day webinar on Gender Analysis and HGDG ended with a question and answer with the resource speaker followed by a virtual group picture.
