Through the initiative of the committee, they were able to establish seven (7) awards for this celebration. Deserving faculty and staff member awardees will receive plaque of recognition and a cash incentives. The following  awards were:

1. PSHS-CMC Natatanging Guro Award

•May be given to an outstanding teacher in Philippine Science High School – Central Mindanao Campus from each of the following three clusters: Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Formal Sciences.
•Natural Sciences is the core of the branches of science as studies the nature of our physical world and the universe such as Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

•Social Sciences study human societies from across the globe as well as the relationship of human beings with their social environment such as History, Economics, Physical Education, Music, Political Science, Health, Language, Linguistics, and Values Education.

•Formal Sciences is quite a unique area of study in Science as it uses formal systems to produce knowledge and explore the nature of different disciplines ranging from Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture and Research.

 
2. PSHS-CMC Natatanging Tauhang Pantanggapan Award

•May be given to an outstanding staff member in Philippine Science High School – Central Mindanao Campus from each of the following three clusters: Finance, Student Services and Administration.
•Finance refers to those employees working under Accounting Unit, Budget Unit, Cash Management Unit, Procurement Office and Supply Office.
•Students Services refers to those employees working under Guidance Services, School Clinic, Registrar’s Office, Dormitories and Library.
•Administration refers to those employees working under Office of the Campus Director, Records Office, Planning Office, General Services Unit, Human Resource Office and Laboratories.

3. Sinagtala Teaching Excellence Award

•Granted to an educator or any faculty member who has made outstanding contributions in teaching and mentoring within and without the academic settings with great impact on the students and the agency.

4.Teaching Performance Award

•Is given to a faculty member to honor, award and thank him/her for his/her excellent teaching performance and his/her significant contribution to enhance the quality of learning and teaching in the campus.

5. Office Workforce Performance Award

•Is given to a staff member to honor, award and thank him/her for his/her excellent office performance and his/her significant contribution to enhance the quality of work in the campus.

6. PISAY Choice Award for Faculty Members

•Is given to a faculty member that uses innovative instruction; provides an enriching, inspiring environment for learning; is approachable and enthusiastic about teaching; has high standards; and shows concern for students in and outside the classroom. A faculty member that has a heart in helping and encouraging people beyond classroom instructions and dedicated his/her self in the service of PSHS-CMC.

7. PISAY Choice Award for Staff Members

•Is given to a staff member that uses innovative working style; provides an enriching, inspiring environment for improving work performance; is approachable and enthusiastic about working; has high standards; and shows concern for clients in and outside the office. A staff member that has a heart in helping and encouraging people beyond office set-up and dedicated his/her self in the service of PSHS-CMC.

The said awards were included in the PSHS-CMC PRAISE Committee Internal Guidelines as per ManCom Resolution No. 2021-09-012 and will be enacted annually during the celebration of the National Teachers’ Month and National Teachers’ Day in order to recognize teaching and non-teaching workforce who possess, in an extraordinary degree, such valuable traits for their creativity, innovativeness, efficiency, integrity and/or productivity to held them up high for emulation.
